Changes to BCBS Medicare Advantage Plan Coverage at MBJ

To all of our BCBS Medicare Advantage Plan Patients:

Effective January 1, 2025, Missoula Bone & Joint and Surgery Center will discontinue its participating provider relationship with Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage Plan. However, you can still count on us to continue your care as we have cared for you in the past. 

What this means to you is that you may have to pay a higher copay to see one of our providers since we will no longer be in network with BCBS Medicare Advantage. We suggest that you contact BCBSMT for more information about your out-of-network benefits. We will continue as participating providers with regular Medicare. Medicare's open enrollment period is 10/15-12/7 if you wish to make a change. You can learn more about Medicare and open enrollment by visiting Medicare.gov or calling 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
